How it works
Welcome to AlphaDoMi, your music companion robot! AlphaDoMi listens to your string instrument playing, compares it to the original piece, and gives you instant feedback on your intonation and rhythm.
To get started, open the “Cello” app on the robot, select your instrument, and scan the QR code for the music you want to play. Press the play button, and after a short countdown, begin playing your piece. AlphaDoMi will display feedback in real-time, showing you how to improve your performance.
After you finish, review your score report to see where you can improve. You can also watch performances by world-class musicians for inspiration. AlphaDoMi makes practicing fun and effective, helping you become a better musician!
Our Goal
AlphaDoMi has already made significant strides in the music education community. By distributing 20 AlphaDoMi models to a local autistic children’s organization, we have helped improve the intonation and rhythm of the Shanghai Autistic Youth Orchestra by 60%. Additionally, our research on AlphaDoMi was recognized and accepted by the 4th International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CONF-CDS 2022), highlighting the device’s innovation and effectiveness.
